The Community Support Division is proud to announce a volunteer program designed to involve our citizens in the Fort Lauderdale Police Deparment and provide support for our investigators.

HOMICIDE CLERICAL SUPPORT - General office duties BURGLARY UNIT - telephone work with crime victims SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT YOUTH SERVICES UNIT MISSING PERSONS ECONOMIC CRIMES UNIT AUTO THEFT TRAINING DIVISION CITIZENS POLICE ACADEMY CITIZENS ON PATROL (COPS) COMMUNITY SUPPORT DIVISION (CSD) SPECIAL VICTIMS VOLUNTEER PROGRAM ASSISTANT - work with Volunteer Coordinator VIDEO PRODUCTION UNIT RECORDS DIVISION COMMUNICATIONS CENTER Other assistance as needed by the Department
With your support we can work to make Fort Lauderdale a safer place in which to work, live, and play.
To date, many volunteers have served the Fort Lauderdale Police Department in a wide range of capacities. Positions are available primarily during business hours Monday through Friday with some opportunities available during evening and weekend hours. Positions are available continuously.
