Responsibilities:
Captain Michael G. Gregory is the Captain in charge of the Special Operations Division. This division is a component of the Operations Bureau of the Police Department. Captain Gregory’s division consists of the Special Events, Incident Management and Red Light Camera Program. In addition to the listed units, Captain Gregory’s division is responsible for the coordination and planning of Annexations.
During his 23 year career with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department Captain Gregory has been assigned to each of the Department’s 3 bureaus. This consisted of Patrol, Street Level Narcotics, Upper Level Narcotics, Racketeering and Intelligence units and Administration. He has served in command roles over the Information Technology Division, Patrol District 3, Criminal Investigations Division, Staff Support Division and currently the Special Operations Division.
