SALARY: $25,896.00 - $34,860.80 annually, plus liberal fringe benefits
This position requires shift work: Nights – Weekends - Holidays
THE POSITION
This is routine work in the enforcement of parking regulations.
An employee in this class patrols an assigned area, on a three-wheel motorcycle or on foot, inspects for violations of meters and other parking violations, and issues traffic summonses to violators. Work assignments may involve night and weekend shifts. Work methods are prescribed in detail, and the work is subject to periodic supervisory reviews. Employee works under general supervision, and must exercise reasonable initiative and independent judgment.

THE REQUIREMENTS
- Have graduated from a standard high school or possess a G.E.D. from a recognized issuing agency.
- Possess or be able to obtain a Florida Driver’s license, and be willing to learn to operate a three-wheel motor scooter.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT (For Certified Applicants Only.)
Possess a Parking Enforcement Specialist Certification issued by the State of Florida to write and issue tickets at time of job application.
THE EXAMINATION
The examination consists of several parts, weighted as follows:
Written Examination 50% Oral Interview 50% Polygraph Examination Pass/Fail Background Investigation Pass/Fail Medical Examination, including drug screening Pass/Fail HOW TO APPLY
