Help Solve a Crime

The Fort Lauderdale Police Department is investigating a homicide. Fort Lauderdale Homicide Detectives are seeking assistance from members of the media, as well as the public in identifying the victim of this homicide.
On Saturday, November 6, 2010, at approximately 10:00 A.M., the Police Department received a call stating that a resident in the area of Northeast 26 Street and Federal Highway possibly found human remains inside the canal. Patrol officers responded and secured the remains. The remains were eventually turned over to the Medical Examiner for examination. The examination confirmed that the remains were human.
Homicide Detectives have confirmed that the suspect(s) made a definite attempt to conceal the remains, as well as the identity of the victim. The victim appears to be a white adult male; possibly 5’8” to 6’00”, and wears a size 10 sneaker. The victim’s age is undetermined at this time.
